 Jared has hand forged this Athame from a Railway Spike on the last day of the financial year and first quarter of a waxing moon. These both align with growth, action and following through with goals.

 As Jared forged and hammered an emotional wave of water washed over him as if to clear and cleanse. The ocean sprung to mind so he has infused the energy of the sea into this Athame.

 Fiona has finished the handle with a fine blue cord, lapis beads and a mini abalone shell. The abalone has a very strong connection to the sea and offers protection, healing and spiritual growth.

 This athame is perfect for ritual work, clearing, cleansing and cutting energy.

 What is an Athame?
An Athame is a ceremonial tool used in Witchcraft and other ceremonial majick traditions.
In witchcraft it symbolises the element fire and is used for channeling, banishing and many other rituals but wasn’t used for actual physical cutting.
In tarot it represents the suit of swords and along with the cup, wand and pentacle they all become the 4 “weapons” of significance.

 Will come with a small aquamarine crystal. Aquamarines name itself means “water of the sea”. It’s been historically linked to the sea, with sailors using it for protection and even sacrificing it to Poseidon for safe journeys. It’s also associated with tranquility and enhancing intuition
