WHAT IS A POPPET?

Also known as a Moppet, Mommet, Pippy & Poppit

A Poppet is a Majickal doll that represents a person, animal or spirit. The term; “poppet” comes from Middle English; with roots in the Latin word for girl or doll.

Unlike the Voodoo the poppet can be used for good or bad and any type of intent. It is often used for Healing and Hexing but can be used for protection, prosperity or anything you want a representation of intent.

These are completed poppets with the intent and ingredients to protect. The next step is yours and you must “tag lock” it. The taglock captures a piece of the soul of the spirit or deity, binding them to the poppet. The poppet is used to activate the powers of the spirit or deity. A poppet containing a plant spirit would be made by using pieces of the plant as the taglock. As these are protection poppets you could bind an item onto your poppet that resonates with you for protection.

You will need to activate it with words of power that give life to it. Write an incantation that is firm and directive. Use short sentences and powerful verbs. You must totally control the poppet for it to work.

Hold your Poppet and say out loud; “Now complete, this poppet will come to life, bound to that which is my target. You will remain under my control and as I speak it, it is so.”

The poppet can be anointed with appropriate oils or waters, or even baptized.
