The Crows Hammer

Aka Jared has been working on a special Athame and as always a one of a kind but a little different in the sense that there has been no power tools used and has been forged, shaped, hammed and twisted by hand. You will see the hammer finish to the blade which gives it a dimpled effect.

We have called this piece “Of the elements”. Standing firm on the ground Jared has Forged in the Fire surrounded by flood waters with a gentle breeze through his workshop. As he has forged he’s infused the strength from elements with his pure intent.

Jared has blackened and waxed the Athame and it will form its own Patina over time.

What is an Athame?

An Athame is a ceremonial tool used in Witchcraft and other ceremonial majick traditions.

In witchcraft it symbolises the element fire and is used for channeling, banishing and many other rituals but wasn’t used for actual physical cutting.

In tarot it represents the suit of swords and along with the cup, wand and pentacle they all become the 4 “weapons” of significance.
