The Crows Hammer

aka Jared has hand forged this Athame from a Railway Spikes and as Jared forged and hammered away he has used his own Spirit guide “Crow” and the Norse flavour to infuse the energy.

Jared has blackened and waxed the blade and it will form its own Patina over time.

Fiona has finished the handles with Black suede cord, Norse rune beads and each one has a slice of deer antler ready for your own sigil or rune

What is an Athame?

An Athame is a ceremonial tool used in Witchcraft and other ceremonial majick traditions.

In witchcraft it symbolises the element fire and is used for channeling, banishing and many other rituals but wasn’t used for actual physical cutting.

In tarot it represents the suit of swords and along with the cup, wand and pentacle they all become the 4 “weapons” of significance.
